Background & Challenge
The project is located at a city center construction site, surrounded by office and residential buildings with strict environmental standards. The tower crane was originally powered by a diesel generator, which frequently malfunctioned due to fluctuating power demand—reducing efficiency and producing noise and exhaust that disturbed nearby residents.
To address this, the project implemented the MASSPOINT
Hybrid Battery Energy Storage System
(BESS) Alpha-250-215, which quickly responds to load variations and allows the generator to maintain a constant output and operate at peak efficiency.
This integration ensures a stable, uninterrupted power supply for the crane while significantly reducing fuel use, emissions, and noise—enabling greener, more efficient construction.
